Additional notes: I read Eggplant Parmesan two nights ago, and I'm just a bit in love with it. I've never read anything like it. And I really, really wanted to paint veggie!H/D.

I took a break from my current project and painted this in a whirlwind yesterday. I love surrealism but haven't ever done anything truly surreal (it's always been more traditional), so this was a lot of fun. But by the time I finished it and took a good look at it, I wasn't so sure it should have been done! I wrote marguerite_26:

You see, unlike the fanart that red_rahl did, which was adorable, this is
just sort of creepy. And it was meant to be, being surrealism and all. But still.
Should I post it? Do you think she'll like it? Should I dispose of it??? LOL.

About their expressions, you've got it completely. Sedated yet daring Draco and the calm challenge of Harry. Mmmmmm. I'm excited you like the realism, too!

I imagine the scar came from Voldie dropping Harry, and Harry living through it but having the scar to show for it. *g* Voldie the grocer, fired for his temper. Can your fic get any cooler????
