Thank you so much!! You're making me blush over here! I'm excited that you think the realism aspect is good and pleased you like his eyelids and that area; they're my favorite part of the painting. :)
Ahhh the blood - I painted the bulk of it with a medium red, then I added the darks and finally the white highlights, which make it pop. Very fun to paint!! :D
