This is an exquisite interpretation of Noe's lovely work, and I just cannot get over how happy they both look and how sweet the whole picture is. It makes my mouth water and my legs wibble.

Scorpius looks young. Not tooo young, but clearer of a different age than Harry - which I know was hard to do with this pose.
FANATASTIC JOB! and it couldn't have gone to a sweeter person!
Now she just needs to finish Pride and Truth so I can read it!!!!

I'm also thrilled you think the age disparity is portrayed well enough. You know how I struggled! It's such a subtle thing to try to capture well.

Date: 2010-01-09 09:18 am (UTC)I'm so thrilled you like my use of colour! I'm heavily inspired by other artists who use it much better than me. This is all relatively new dabbling, so I'm sort of flying by the seat of my pants. It's all practiced instinct, really. Choppy painting is what I'm naturally inclined to do, so I've adapted a colouring style suited for it. But taking all that into consideration, I would love to make a tutorial if you'd like one! :)
