I also had an Insanejournal account, but it looks like it was purged (I guess because I hadn't logged in in two years). I tried to submit a support form about it, but I was given an error repeatedly, and I don't know how else to contact them.

STEP THREE: “You’re great in bed, but you’re still an arse.”
They have all been brilliant, every single one, week after week! And it's just getting harder and harder to pick a favorite. The first week I had one favorite among favorites, the second week I had two favorites among favorites, and this week I had three!!!

The sad thing is that my favorites were eliminated the first two weeks in a row. But this week all three of my very favorites were safe, so I'm glad about that! But HONESTLY, the competition is fierce and it's nearly impossible to pick.

Today is my first fandom anniversary since rejoining in the fun! On this day last year I posted Mudhoney. Has it really been a year? It seems like less because time flies when much fun is had, and it seems like more because I feel like I've been a part of you all as if I'd never left. This year is also my sixth year since knowing about and being a part of fandom.

So this is a thousand thank yous to all for a fantastic year, and here's to many more!

I made a post to accio_hd_fics the other day asking if anyone could think of stories or art depicting WWI or WWII. I couldn't think of any, but I was hoping I was wrong.

Many thanks to roma_fics because she remebered a piece she thought was great, and oh, wow, do I agree. It features Harry and Draco, amongst several other characters, in a trench.


The drawing is intense and cool and very well done. It's the kind of thing I was looking and hoping for. And what really delighted me about the piece is that it's a magical AU. I think it's so special.

But sadly this is the only thing that came up. I'm surprised this is the case, especially since the Harry Potter series had a first Wizarding War and lead up to the second Wizarding war. It seems like it would have been done extensively and become almost a cliché.

Why hasn't it been done? This is an unmarked territory for Harry and Draco. I'm craving more stories and art like this, and I'm inspired to add to it. I think I have my prompt idea for my hd_holidays sign-up! Distress and romance during a wartime fall and winter - my heart flutters just thinking about it! :-D

Yesterday I had all four of my wisdom teeth surgically removed. I'm always good with this sort of thing (no anxiety at all), and it went really well. I'm not very sore today, and despite being quite swollen and not looking like myself, I feel fine and I'm happy.

I have a few more posts to make over the next couple of days:
